What began in 1998 and 1999 as in-store exhibitions of art bras at Gazebo, an upscale lingerie store in Northampton, Massachusetts, has evolved into Show Us Your BRA!™ the chief fundraising effort supporting The Breast Form Fund.  In the past, the traditional three-part event consisted of the Contest, the Gala Auction, and the Calendar. In 2010 Show Us Your BRA! ™has evolved once again.

During the spring of 2010 The Breast Form Fund (The BFF) joined forces with three nonprofits to form the ALL4One Alliance. The All4One Alliance is a partnership between The BFF, CancerCare, Cancer Resource Foundation, Inc., and Luminous Breast Cancer Foundation, with generous support from Amoena, the leading manufacturer of breast care products, to improve the quality of life for underserved women living with and beyond breast cancer.  The All4One Alliance provides free access to bras and breast prostheses for underserved women, professional support and information for anyone coping with breast cancer, and dignity and compassion from woman to woman. The major goal for the All4One Alliance in 2010 is to produce, market and sell the 2011 Show Us Your BRA! ™ Calendar nationwide.  A large portion of the profit from 2011 calendar sales will go to The BFF, the original creator of the Show Us Your BRA! ™ Calendar, and will benefit underserved women in Massachusetts.

With an early deadline required for the more expansive marketing campaign, The Breast Form Fund called upon its’ past calendar BRAtists to create a bra by June 15 for consideration for the 2011 calendar.  Of the seventeen bras that were submitted for judging, six will be included in the 2011 calendar. The All4One Alliance invited CeleBRAty BRAtistes to create the remaining six bras for the calendar.  A list of all 2011 Calendar BRAtistes will be announced on this website shortly.  2011 Show Us Your BRA! ™Calendars will be available for purchase through the Show Us Your BRA!™, The Breast Form Fund, and All4One Alliance websites in September. The Calendar will also available for purchase from our local business friends in Western Mass.

To honor our “local” BRAtistes, sponsors, and friends, The BFF couldn’t pass up the chance to celebrate with a Show Us Your BRA!™ Gala event on October 30, 2010 at The Garden House In Florence Massachusetts. In addition to the 17 bras already submitted, The BFF has invited past Show Us Your BRA!™ Calendar Bratistes who couldn’t meet the June 15 deadline, to create a bra by October 15, 2010. All bras will be auctioned at the Gala event in either a called and silent auction. We will celebrate in elegance with delicious food and drink, lively music and much, much more. The People’s Choice Award will be given to the BRAtiste who receives the most votes at the event.

To date, Show Us Your BRA! ™ has auctioned more than 700 bra creations, produced eight calendars and raised funds that have helped hundreds of women regain their sense of beauty and self-assurance after breast cancer surgery.  Ticket sales and auction proceeds raised at the Gala benefit The Breast Form Fund, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that provides post-mastectomy prostheses and bras to underserved women in Massachusetts, helping breast cancer survivors look and feel beautiful.

The Breast Form Fund was founded in 1994 to offer financial assistance to uninsured and under-insured women to purchase breast prostheses and post-mastectomy bras after breast cancer surgery. These products help women regain their sense of beauty and self-assurance after surgery and for years to come. The Breast Form Fund offers assistance to women of all ages and cultural backgrounds who live in Massachusetts.
