BRAvarotti: an Uplifting Tribute
by Pamela Finer (February 2009)
“The recent untimely passing of Luciano Pavarotti brought memories of my own father, who lost his life at only 70 years old, as a result of pancreatic cancer. It was my mother, the love of his life, who sang like a bird from sunup to sundown, and who was humming bits of Ravel’s Bolero and Bizet’s Carmen with her wonderful hospice aide just a day before she died. Many positive and healing thought went into the making of BRAvarotti, for the well being of those who cope with health challenges and for their special caregivers as well. Thanks for providing this outlet for “art with heart.” Show Us Your Bra will always inspire me.”
